1 Point Perspective with Mister Riggs (3rd Grade)

Students will be designing a one point perspective Gold mine / Cabin in the woods using a vanishing point, horizon line, and pen & ink  illustration techniques during this one week lesson. Posted below are some of the results by American Academy students.

What is One Point Perspective?

  1. A drawing has one-point perspective when it contains only one vanishing point on the horizon line. This type of perspective is typically used for images of roads, railway tracks, hallways, or buildings viewed so that the front is directly facing the viewer.
